Join us this fall and winter for 4 webinars about growing, harvesting, and preserving your own food.
Each webinar is one hour long and hosted by one of Food For All New Brunswick's Community Food Mentors.
Our first panelist is Amy Floyd from Food For All NB
Amy has a background in non-profits and community development. In 2010 she became interested in housing and natural building. In 2016 she began seriously learning about permaculture. After a few years of going it mostly alone, Amy formed the Permaculture Atlantic Network to connect with others locally and throughout the Maritimes. In the words of Wendell Berry, Amy is a generalist and likes to know a little bit about a lot of things; although, botany/ food production, forest ecology, housing and community organizing are her favourite topics. Currently, Amy works as the Housing Justice Coordinator for the Madhu Verma Migrant Justice Centre. Amy lives in Taymouth with her partner Drew who has helped to make their home solar powered and more energy efficient.
